Brisbane is known for its distinctive ‘timber and tin' architecture. However, when compared to other Australian cities, Brisbane has not been viewed as having such high regard for the preservation of many of its heritage buildings.
The Heritage Defence Kit aims to re-empower the public to take ownership of their city. The Kit is a series of booklets and documents, demystifying government language and guiding residents through an often convoluted process. We co-designed this kit with Brisbane Residents United. |
